Yasir Shah Returns to Pakistan Test Squad for Sri Lanka Tour 2022

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 16-member squad ahead of the tour of Sri Lanka 2022. Yasir Shah Returns to Pakistan Test Squad for Sri Lanka Tour 2022 after an injury.

Apart from this leg-spinner, spin bowling all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has also returned. He could not play in the Australia series at home. Salman Ali Agha has also been called up to the team as a new face.

Pakistani bowler Yasir injured his finger while playing domestic cricket in Pakistan. Yasir Shah, who has not been in the national team for a long time due to that injury, has returned to the team. He is ready to play for Pakistan in the tour of Sri Lanka.

Apart from these three spinners, four middle-order batsmen, three all-rounders, two wicketkeepers, two spinners and four pacers have been named in the squad for the tour of Sri Lanka. Babar Azam will be the captain of Sri Lanka and Mohammad Rizwan will be his assistant.

The last time Sri Lanka visited Pakistan was in 2015. Despite playing a full series of services, Pakistan will only play Tests this time. The two-match Test series starts on July 24 at the Gaul International Stadium. The last match of the series will be played at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
