SL vs AUS 2022: Travis Head Ruled Out of ODI Series Due to Hamstring Injury 

Australia, who lost the ODI series against Sri Lanka, have been hit by bad news. Travis Head will miss the last ODI of the series against Sri Lanka 2022 due to hamstring injury. Travis Head, ruled out from the last ODI, is also worried about the first Test match.

Australia will play the last ODI of the series against Sri Lanka on Friday (June 24). The batsman suffered a hamstring injury before this match. He will not be able to play in the last match of the series due to injury.

Australia’s limited-overs captain Aaron Finch has confirmed his dismissal. Steven Smith and Mitchell Starc are already out due to injuries.

Although Smith and Starc did not get an ODI series, they are getting ready to play Tests. The Australian team management is hopeful that they will get them in the Gaul Test if all goes well.

Cricket Australia (CA) has also decided who will be included in the XI if Travis Head is dropped from the first Test. Marcus Harris, Matthew Renesh and Nick Madison, who are on a tour of Sri Lanka for the Australia ‘A’ team.

Travis Head has played 26 Tests so far. He has scored 156 runs at an average of 41.52. He has recently become a regular member of all three Australian formats.
