T20 World Cup 2022 Trophy Set to Tour 13 Countries
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be held in Australia in October-November this year. Australia has started 100 days count down for T20 World Cup 2022. The ICC, the world’s top governing body for cricket, has confirmed that the T20 World Cup 2022 trophy will tour 13 countries on the countries.
According to the ICC, the T20 World Cup trophy will be played in 13 countries around the world. The trophy will go to 35 cities in 13 countries. This trophy will not go to any country except Test cricket not only Bangladesh but also Australia. The World Cup trophy will go to Germany, Indonesia, Finland and Singapore. The ICC will do this mainly as part of the spread of cricket worldwide.
Cricket Australia (CA) hosted an event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday (July 7). Australia captain Aaron Finch and former all-rounder Shane Watson were present in the limited overs. Also present were Pakistani stars Waqar Younis and Morne Morkel.
The World Cup tour of the T20 World Cup 2022 will begin on Friday (July 8) with a trophy show in Melbourne. The trophy’s world tour will end on October 17 this year in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. The trophy will be on display in the top 13 cities hosting the T20 World Cup in Australia. The trophy will be in one city in each of the remaining 12 countries.
