IND vs BAN 2022: Rohit Sharma Suffers Thumb Injury Sent to Hospital for X-ray

India captain Rohit Sharma picked up an injury in the second ODI against hosts Bangladesh. He injured his left thumb while catching Enamul Haque Vijay.  He was taken to the hospital from Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur to monitor the condition of his hand. Bangladesh captain Liton Das won the toss and decided to bat in the second one-day match of the series.

Rohit’s team got off to a great start by fielding first. In the 10th over of the innings, Mohammad Siraj bowls to Enamul Haque Vijay, Rohit Sharma misses the catch and got a left thumb injury when the ball hit his hand. However, Vijay left the field on the very next ball.

After that, Rohit Sharma left the field he was taken to a hospital. However, the Indian team management has not yet given any details about Rohit Sharma injury. The hand was taken to the hospital for examination.

The first match of the three-match series was won by the hosts Bangladesh by a margin of 1-0. The second match of the series is going on today in Mirpur. The last match will be held on December 10 at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
