PCB Introduced Separate Central Contracts for White and Red Ball Cricket

Bangladesh and several other cricketing countries in the world have separate central contracts for white and red balls. This time the Pakistan Cricket Board PCB Introduced Separate Central Contracts for White & Red Ball Cricket. The PCB will introduce this method from the upcoming season. PCB chairman Ramiz Raja confirmed the matter.

The plan is to give more importance to white ball cricket. Because there are several World Cups ahead in short format. But the red ball cricketers will also be kept busy. All in all, the plan has been sorted out, said Ramiz Raja.

Ramiz Raja said, “Our rationale behind separating red and white ball cricket contracts is to help improve and advance white ball cricket. We have four international tournaments in the next 18 months, including two World Cups.

Ramiz added, “We are creating two different squads with separate contracts for white ball experts. In this way we can keep the two teams busy at the same time as white and red. Through this we will be able to present more talented cricketers to the world.

Pakistan’s current central agreement expires on June 30. After the 2021-22 season, the PCB will announce the central contract for the 2022-23 season. There are rumors, new faces are coming. At the same time, it has been reported that salaries and benefits are increasing.
