New Zealand Pacer Adam Milne Dropped from Europe Tour 2022

New Zealand is playing a series against Ireland and Netherlands on the tour of Europe 2022. Kiwi pacer Adam Milne has been dropped from Europe tour 2022 due to leg injury. His dismissal was confirmed by New Zealand Cricket (NZC).

Adam Milne picked up a leg injury in training ahead of the tour of Ireland. Because of that injury, New Zealand will have to enter the field without him. Instead of Milan, Jacob Duffy has been called up to the New Zealand team for these two series.

New Zealand head coach Shane Jurgenson confirmed Adam Milne’s sacking. He said on Friday (July 15), “His fall is disappointing for us. Hopefully, he will be back before the T20 Bishop’s Cup in Australia.”

New Zealand will play the last ODI of the three-match series against Ireland on the same day as Adam Milne leg injury. The Kiwis will also play against Scotland and the Netherlands after this series.

New Zealand will play a total of four T20Is and one ODI against Scotland and the Netherlands. In these three series, the Kiwis played with the second-ranked team.
