In 2022, Liton Das is the highest run scorer in all formats. Liton Das reach 1000-run milestone (three formats combined) as the first batsman 2022. In recent years, Liton Das has become the name of confidence of the Bangladesh team with the bat. For the sake of the country, this right-handed batsman is competing with the star batsmen of the world.

Liton Das batted in the first innings of the St. Lucia Test with 996 runs. In the 6th ball of his game, Anderson drove 2 runs on the cover of Philip’s ball. In the next ball, Liton became the first batsman to cross the 1,000-run milestone this year.

Liton was dismissed for 53 runs after completing the 14th fifty of his Test career. He smashed the innings in 80 balls. Usman Khawaja is the highest run scorer in 2022 if only the Test format is taken. The Australian batsman is at the top with 851 runs. Joe Root’s at number two with 663 runs.  Liton Das, who has scored two centuries and four fifties in 13 Test innings so far this year, averages 49.23.
