Kolkata Knight Riders KKR kept alive their hopes of a play-offs in this year’s IPL 2022 by beating Mumbai Indians. But whether you get to the last four depends a lot on ‘but, but’. Kolkata Knight Riders beats the former champions Rohit Sharma’s team Mumbai Indians by 52 runs on Monday. In this victory, Kolkata came up in the list of points with 10 points in 12 matches. On the other hand Mumbai Indians was the first team to be eliminated from IPL 2022.

Kolkata Knigt Riders KKR got off to a good start with Ajinkya Rahane and Venkatesh Iyer batting before losing the toss. Venkatesh was dismissed for 43 runs. Rahane, who scored 25 runs, was dismissed in the 11th over. Nitish Rana Tikleo but other batsmen have suffered. Captain Shreyas Iyer could not make more than 6 runs. Andre Russell also returned with 9 runs. Rana played an innings of 43 runs from 26 balls. Besides, Rinku Singh made 23 runs from 19 balls.

Mumbai fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah took 5 wickets with the ball alone. The right-handed pacer took 5 wickets for just 10 runs in 4 overs despite that KKR beat MI in the 56th match of IPL 2022. Ishan Kisan scored 51 off 43 balls for Mumbai. No one but Kisan could fight like that. Kolkata pacer Pat Cummins took 3 wickets for 22 runs.
