ICC Announce Player of The Month For October 2022

Player of The Month October 2022: ICC Announce the Winner of Men’s and Women’s Player of the Month Award

Indian batter Virat Kohli has been selected as the ICC Men’s Player of the of the Month for October 2022. And Pakistan’s all-rounder Nida Dar became the ICC Player of the month for October 2022 in the women’s category.

Along with Kohli, South Africa’s David Miller and Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza were nominated for the ICC Cricketer of the Month for October. Kohli beat Miller and Raja to become the October Cricketer of the Year. King Kohli won the best award after being nominated for the first time.

Kohli scored 224 runs with two half-centuries in five innings last month. He also had a magnificent innings of a match-winning unbeaten 82 against Pakistan in Melbourne in the Super Twelve in the ongoing T20 World Cup. He also scored an unbeaten 62 against the Netherlands in the next match.

On winning the award, Kohli said, “It is a great honor for me to be selected as the ICC Player of the Month for October. Countless fans and panels around the world choosing me as the best player is very special for me. I respect the other nominated players and also my teammates, who have supported me to give my best.”

Miller was in great form with the bat last month. He played an unbeaten innings of 106 runs off 47 balls against India in Guwahati. He also scored an impeccable 75 runs in one match of the ODI series. Miller contributed to the team’s victory against India in Perth in the World Cup. He scored an unbeaten 59 off 46 balls.

Raja had a great performance with bat and ball. He took 145 runs with the bat and 9 wickets with the ball. He became the best player three times in the ongoing World Cup.

In the women’s category, Pakistan’s all-rounder Nida Dar became the best after leaving India’s Jemima Rodriguez and Deepti Sharma. She took 145 runs and 8 wickets at an average of 72.50 in 6 matches in the Women’s Asia Cup in October. India’s Jemima Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma were in the best race with Nida.
