Bismah Mahroof Daughter Fatima Denied Accreditation for Commonwealth Games Village 2022
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) tried to keep Bismah Maruf and her daughter in the Commonwealth Games Village. The PCB had applied for two additional accreditation cards for Bismahar’s daughter Fatima and her mother. However, the organizing body of the Commonwealth Games Denied Accreditation for Bismah Mahroof Daughter Fatima said that if two people are reduced from the 22-member team, then the chance to get an accreditation card will be matched.
However, the PCB did not walk that path. The PCB has decided to keep Bismah Maruf and his daughter out of the hotel as the Commonwealth organizers did not agree in the end. Bismah will take the mother and daughter to a hotel outside the Games Village. Bismahar’s mother was also a partner in the latest Women’s ODI World Cup in New Zealand.
Fatima became a star in the New Zealand Women’s ODI World Cup, beating her mother Bismah Maruf. Bismah Maruf came to play in the Women’s ODI World Cup with his daughter. He even had his daughter at the team hotel. But Bismah Maruf is not getting that opportunity in the Commonwealth Games.
The 22nd Commonwealth Games will start in Birmingham from July 26 this year. Pakistan will play cricket discipline in this tournament. Bismah Maruf also wanted to take his daughter to the Commonwealth Games. However, the organizers did not agree to give the accreditation card to little Fatima.
Concerns were raised about whether Bismah Maruf would take part in the incident. Bismah said after overcoming that fear, he will play. However, the team will not be in the Commonwealth Village during the Games.
