T20 WC 2022: Australia Beat Ireland to Keep Their Hopes Alive for Semi-Final 

Australia beat Ireland in the T20 WC 2022 semi-final survival match. The hosts beat the Irish by 42 runs to keep their hopes of the semi-finals alive. Australia target of 180 runs, Ireland was reduced to 137 runs. Aaron Finch became the man of the match by scoring 63 runs.

Australia lost the toss and batted at the start. David Warner returned to pavilion with only 3 runs off 7 balls. After that, captain Aaron Finch and Mitchell Marsh took responsibility to increase the innings slowly. At the end of the powerplay, Australia collection stood at 38 runs for 1 wicket. 52 runs come from this pair.
